This week has been eventful, and not really in the good way. Quite the opposite, it's been full of disappointments, let downs, frustrations, and just general blah. And yes, I know it's only Tuesday..I'm hoping that it picks up

I can understand your sentiments about feeling that you have a miserable, dead-end job. I used to feel that way all the time about serving tables.
Although it's funny -- I have friends who've moved away from Kentucky, and all they do is think about coming back. I think people like this place for some reason. It's a relatively nice place to live, lower cost of living, pretty, and not too many people. Plus there really is blue grass, at least in the spring. :)
I do hope you get to feeling better. Yesterday was an awful day for me too. A fellow student I can't stand got on my nerves all day long, and then put her childish fit onto the entire grad student list serv, which means all the bio grad students now know she's throwing a fit, rather than just the people she's throwing it about or to. And then school starts on Monday, and I may be dropping all my classes and just doing research. Unfortunate, school starts on MONDAY and I don't even know if I'm doing that yet or not. That is frustrating beyond belief.
I'm sorry, Bro. I feel your pain kinda. When I was up in Lexington, I couldn't find a place that would work around my classes and my roomies only wanted to drink (which isn't a bad thing when done in moderation). I know the theatre scene isn't big in Bowling Green but It's a pretty nice city. It's not too far from Nashville, Louisville and Henderson. You're NOT a failure and you will never will. You're my bro and I know that I can count on you even when shit hits the fan. You're a good person and no matter what kind of stuff happens just keep you're head up and keep moving forward. If you ever wanna talk or anything, gimme a call, you know the number.
When it rains, it pours. I know. The same thing has been happening to me lately, Chris. Keep your head up, focus on the positives, and keep trying to get a better job...something will come your way. If you decide you want to move back to KY, don't think of yourself as a failure because you aren't. A lot of people never get the nerve to follow their dreams or take that chance at all. Those people are the failures. I'm proud of you for following your dream and living the life you wanted to live in Chicago.
