I tried the Portuguese version of Rosetta Stone before I went to Brazil. It seemed really good, except talking about colors and apples wasn't as helpful as I had hoped in picking up women. I should've at least gotten a phrase book to go with it.

I personally would not want to be around people not completely floored by apple/color concersation.
