(no subject)
i got home from vaca tonight. you all should read about how awesome it was, and then comment on how happy you are that i'm home! haha im a tool.
I JUST GOT HOME!-so i came home from california today. it was pretty awesome. not really what a expected but i'll get more into that later. basically today, we woke up at 5:30 and were outa the house by 6. we were there by 630 and it took forever to get through security etc. so we had standby tickets which meant that we wouldnt necessarily get on the flight even if we were scheduled for it. well the flight we were going to get on (or hoping for) was at 745. turns out they only had 2 seats, so my dad, loving me o so much, tells my mom and sister to get on it! haha so i got to wait with my dad. we got on the next flight at 845 and we got to atlanta at like, 425 i think. turns out the flight we were gunna get on left at 405 so we couldnt get on it. my mom and sister did though!! (and for those of you wondering how we left at quarter to 9 and got to atlanta at half past 4, theres a three hour time difference. haha do the math its quarter to 12 when we leave and 430 when we got there. it works) aaaanyways. so we couldnt get on the flight but we got on the next one at 6. but that didnt leave til 7 (gay) and we didnt get home to our house til 1030. LONG day if you ask me.
what you wanna hear-we left on wednesday night, flew to atlanta, spent the night there. on thursday morning, we got there and then after that we just kinda hung out at the house etc. relaxed since we had had a really long flight. well on our way home from the airport, we're driving on the highway. it was a 14 lane highway (im talking both ways here not just one, but it was 7 lanes on either side of the barrier) and there was STILL traffic. i couldnt believe it. they had this cute little dog named rosie...i LOVED her. haha she's an australian sheepdog but during the summer they cut her hair really short. well this dog, if you can imagine it, is all gray, with black spots. BUT she has tan legs and a tan face. BUT she has white feet. and she is ADORABLE. haha i really love her. anyways thats all that happened on thursday.
friday-we went to...ready? are you sure?! we went to...ok now make sure you really are ready because this is honestly...INSANE...so if your 100% sure you're ready i just might hafta tell you that i went to...LAGUNA BEACH!! haha it was so awesome. we basically walked to board walk the whole time and just looked at the beach. i saw honestly the 2 weirdest things ever while i was there. one thing was, that while you were standing on the beach looking back to the road, you could see mountains. if you've never been to cali it seems really weird because normally on the beach all you have is beach but there, the mountains are RIGHT on the beach. thats it, theyre just there! and the second thing that baffled me, was that instead of like at hampton where its like shops, road, sidewalk, beach...it went shops, road, shops, sidewalk, GRASS, sidewalk, beach. like, just the setup of it is SO totally different. its unbelievable. who even has GRASS on their beaches? haha anyways enough about friday.
saturday-we went to the san diego zoo. it was huge and ive honestly never been to a zoo this big. its unimaginably big (it seems like everything there is unimagineable) we spent 6 hours there looking at animals and it wasnt like we were wondering around a zoo for 6 hours, we were LOOKING AT THE ANIMALS FOR 6 HOURS. haha it was crazy. well after the zoo, my mom decided we would meet up with her sister and her family. FUN TIME! (can you sense the sarcasm?) well this family is messed up. i mean my cousin was literally bouncing off the walls. he was jumping off one wall, into the other, then back into the first, then back into the other and so on and so on and so on...get the point? well to top it off, he and his sister were poking eachother with knifes. these people are like 13. they made me so angry. uggh im over it. lol.
sunday-it was quite boring. well we went out on a boay but that was basically it. not a very eventful day but still, it was relaxing. haha and ON to monday.
monday-we went shopping. it was awesome. i LOVE shopping. i bought a watch and the watch is awesome because it came with 6 different bands, all of which are some shade of pink or something. AHH I LOVE IT!! can you tell? lol well anyways, i also bought a pocketbook...which I ALSO LOVE!! and...ITS PINK TOO!! haha im loving pink right now. o man you all need to see my new stuff. my mom got me a sweatshirt too. it was "san diego" on it. its really comfy. ooo and my aunt joan, well she bought me an anklet from this place called brighton jewelry. i guess its like...a really nice jewelry place haha. i loved the anklet so much though that i convinced my mom to buy me the matching necklace and give it to me for my birthday (which is coming up in september by the way guys!!)
crying babies-well that night my dads cousin and his family (which we'd been spending time with over the whole vaca) came over to take pics before we left. we had been sitting on the stairs getting our pics taken and their little boy (he's 2 and a half) was in the kitchen. i went around the corner from the stairs towards the kitchen, and he's coming near me but not looking so as he turns his head i got "raawwwwr!" and ya know what he does? he screams, and starts crying. well i didnt expect him to cry so i started laughing. well now everyone's like OMG LOGAN ARE YOU OK and im like o shit i really scared him. he finally stops crying so i go over to him to say hi or whatever and the moment he sees my face, he starts crying again. how fricken funny. i felt bad but it was hysterical. HAHA anyways that was my vaca so love it or hate it, im out.
