I have been through the exact same thing. He was the person for me. Brought me down so much that I cut myself over him time and time again but no matter what i still cared about him. I still do in a way but it is just something that you have to learn to deal with. Life is fucked up like that. Trust me it will happen time and time again no one can change that. But it makes you a stronger person and eventually the hurt will go away.
