::grins:: I was glad to be of service. I know how important eating can be at a con when you're running about.

I cut out HFCS and corn syrup years ago. I also won't ingest any fake sugars. I allow a certain amount of regular sugar, and at conventions I kind of give up on an all out ban, because it's dang near impossible to avoid HFCS and the like when you're out and about. I try my best though. I can taste when something has HFCS, or artificial sweeteners. It's almost more "mouth feel" than taste, but it's there. I wish more studies were being performed by independent agencies about how HFCS, corn syrup, and artifical sweeteners affect the body, and that they were getting more publicity than the corn refiners ads about how corn syrup is "just fine for you".

I am sorry we did not get to hook up more at BaltiCon! What're the chances of getting you at MarsCon?

Yep, processed food pretty much the problem. SO hard to reprogram, but infinitely worthwhile. I'm no zealot, in fact generally anything but, but the evidence continues to impress. Eat real food. Convenience be damned (as much as possible).

Life is better without processed sugars. I've abstained from HFCS for quite some time, and my energy is higher. Your kidneys will thank you for it. :)
