I Like how you didn't watermark the background a lot of people do that these days and its just annoying after a while.

The Color red you used was a little off from the color of the red in the background, kinda hurt my eyes.

Try adding a personal touch to the layout, change your link colors and hover colors with CSS codes same with the scrollbar :D Besides that its neat simple, nother too complicated. *claps*
