top 5 reasons i love my favorite bar:

5) it's an irish pub
4) they play tons of punk rock and always play bad religion and soc d in my honor while i'm there
3) i can drink beer all night long for free
2) we're friends with the bartender/owner, who takes shots with us all night, free of charge
1) nights end with being pulled into the boys' bathroom, pushed up against a wall and kissed

i miss my favorite bar.

it was this little hole in the wall with about five people in there on a busy night. it was lit entirely by christmas strand lights and decorated in old fishing/nautical stuff.

while i was pregnant they redecorated. now it's one gigantic dale earnhardt shrine with these new florescent lights burning like the noonday sun.

AND they took weezer out of the jukebox and put in nickleback or something equivalent.

i wanted to cry.
