If you are reading this, and the person really means/meant that much to you, tell me:

Who is/are the person/people that have affected your life the most to this day. Influenced, inspired, changed. Tell me your story. I want to hear.

My grandmother has the greatest effect on me.

She's the most giving person I have ever met; however, last summer she suffered a stroke. Afterward, the doctors said that she would never be able to walk or speak again. This woman refused to let that be the end of it. One week later she had made enough of a recovery (she could stand) to leave the hospital.

We couldn't afford to get her any kind of supervision... so I volunteered to watch her until school started again. For two months I spent almost every day 9-5 with my grandma. Fetching things, driving her places, and talking to her. She wasn't mute. She could still think straight, but she couldn't form the words she was thinking. You know how with some people you know them so well that you can finish their sentences... well that's what it was like that summer... I just knew what she wanted. By the end of the summer she had recovered almost completely.

She is one of the strongest people I've ever met, and she forced me to grow up.

There are two... tntd_shintaido August 7 2004, 22:03:15 UTC
I have my friends who are always there to pick me up when my crazy ass family has me down, and I also have my family for when my friends and the world are driving me nuts...
But, there are two people that made my life livable. First of all, there was Alisa, for all of you who know who that is, you know why I love her the most out of all the people I've ever known. She is one of the true people I can honestly say i love... The other was very dear to me aswell. He was my sensei, and he was the father I didnt have at home, and he was the only leading light away from most of the stupid shit that i did in my life.

But I still love all my peeps, not just saying that either. All you is my family.

G-Savior is out...

My father is the one person who has effected me the most in my life. In an adverse effect though, though my father isnt an evil man , he says things without thinking, sometimes spewing absolutely cruel things from his mouth. It makes me ashamed to carry my family's last name because, theres nothing great about my fathers side of the family there all for the most part hustlers. i've noticed that every person who i've ever known to say i'll never be like that when i grow up, and they hate what that person there trying not to be like, every aspect ends up turning out just like them. so i've decided to embrace my father learn from him what not to do, what not to say, who not to trust. by living this way i turn every bad thing about my father into a positive aspect of my life. thats why i care about people i barely know, thats why i help anyone who comes to me with a problem, thats why i always think before i speak and so often bite my tongue, because i want to be a better man than my father is, enough said

My parents, my brother, Sarah & Margo, teachers Ms. McParland & Harris & Serio, lots of authors esp. D. Quinn, Arielle, Megan, Jessica, Stephanie, Heather, Ezra, Hope, Sti, Chappell, Adam, and of course Martha . . . all these people have affected my life so much. Oh shit, and Michael and Lillian, of course, and Steve, and Gina even though I barely know her and Jeff, now.

I can't tell these stories here because there are too many and it'd take us both all day. But thanks for reminding me to be grateful!
