BEST...BIRTHDAY...EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Why, you ask?
1) I turned 21.
2) I woke-up w/Bryan, which is always nice. :)
3) I got my license renewed.
I had wanted to be there @ 8:30am when it opened, but my brother and mother acted like that was a horrible idea cuz it'd be busy and told me to go midday. Well, that turned into 4pm cuz I took my time and then had to wait for Pixydust, and then Bryan got me all worried. He said there'd be a huge line or w/e, but I got my number and, like, 5 seconds later it was called.
4) I bought SoCo and Smirnoff Green Apple Twist at the liquor store.
Pixydust and I stopped there after I got my license renewed. At first I didn't think the dude was gonna card me cuz he rang me up and took my $$ before he even asked. I was seriously gonna cry if he hadn't, lol.
So then he was like, "Oh, it's your birthday? Happy birthday!" and asked if I had the hard copy. I told him I didn't yet, and asked if he wanted to see the old hard copy. I thought he wasn't gonna let me have it for a second, which would've really made me cry, but he did, and all was good. :) Yay for SoCo and Smirnoff Green Apple Twist! :P
5) I got presents from tha' chica and Pixydust.
Tha' chica made me a cool bracelet, and got me Happy Bunny PJs, which I'm wearing now, and 1 of those squishy pillows. Thaaaaaaaank you, chica'!
Pixydust got me a gynormous shot glass and a gift card to Hot Topic. Thanks, Pixydust!
6) I got my cookie cake.
7) I got a lil' party w/tha' chica, Pixydust, Bryan, Eric, and Steve.
8) I got a card from Bryan. :)
9) I got a LIMO!!!
My parents surprised me by getting a limo to take all of us to our concerts. It also drove me and the girls back to my house. :D That was def. a nice ride in...probly' the best limo ride I've ever had...and I've had quite a few. :P
10) I got to go to the Hoobastank Fanclub meet+greet.
I had entered to go to it thinking I'd never be 1 of the 10 Fanclub members chosen, but I was!
I couldn't bring any of my friends, cuz it was Fanclub members only, but it was sweet! I met the keyboardist of lostprophets, Jamie, first. He wasn't even supposed to be there, so that was sweet. He grabbed my stuff and got Markku (the bassist from Boobastank) to sign it all. Jamie and Markku were def. the coolest. They were so funny and chill. It was cool to just be able to hang-out w/them for a bit.
Oh, I got a pic w/Markku too. He asked if I wanted 1, and I was like, "Uh...we're gonna need someone else to take it...", and he just grabbed my cam. and was like, "No, we'll just do it like this!" and held it out in front of us.
Doug Robb signed my sh^t too. Man, that dude was so stoned. I had to try really hard not to crack up. I got a pic w/him too. We're an item now. LOL, j/p...obviously. :P
11) I got to go to the 104.1 WBCN Xmas Rave featuring Hoobastank, lostprophets, and Endway w/Pixydust, tha' chica, and Kayleeeeeeeeen.
The concert was awesome. We got in there, they checked my bag, we went to the merch booth, ran around trying to find where to go for the meet+greet, did that, and then I got a beer. They had Bud, Bud Light, some long named beer, and Harpoon IPA. Note to self: Do NOT drink Harpoon IPA...OMG...so gross.
Anywayzzz...after that we got food. I finished the pretzel tha' chica bought, and then Pixydust ended-up finishing my nasty-@$$ beer. We got to our seats, saw the 1st band (Endway was okaaay), and then Kay joined us. She got there as Endway was ending.
Lostprophets' set was pretty good. They played "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" which made me very happy, and they played every song I wanted them to off of their latest CD. :)
Boobastank (Hoobastank) was last, and they were awesome. The lights were amazing...all pretty and such, so that was cool. At 1 point Doug Robb was like, "...and this Xmas is gonna rock cuz the RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIEEEEEESSSSSS!!!" or something like that. OMG, the place erupted. Soon after, the "Yankees suck" cheer ensued. Doug got this look on his face like, "OMG...wtf did I just do?!?!?" It was priceless. Then they played "Running Away" (I think it was), and Doug Robb kept randomly inserting "Yankees suck" into the song, lol.
They played "The Reason", of course, which pissed me off, but w/e...I knew they were going to...f*cking Reason. We all sat down for that 1, so at least they gave us a little break.
They didn't play "Lucky", but they did finish w/"Disappear" which was the other 1 I was waiting for them to play, so I wasn't too disappointed. That was the perfect song to end w/anywayz...just like it was the perfect song to have as the last track on their latest CD.
So after the concert, we took the limo home, Kay looked at pics and cards and sh^t, and then we all left (tha' chica for home, Kay following me to Rt.9, and me driving Pixydust home).
