Hm...what to post? Uniform changeover has occurred, so we're now in short-sleeves and whites again. Giant pain in the ass, the white uniforms...impossible to keep clean. And the weather isn't exactly what I'd call "seasonable." Oh well; maybe it means this summer won't be as ridiculously hot and humid as usual. Hopefully we'll be seeing some ( Read more... )

Its true that tragedy does bring people closer together. I know I feel very proud to be a virginia college student right now though I wish more people would band together instead of directing their anger at the campus police. I'm sure they are hurting pretty bad now.

That if they had captured him and AFTER a fair trial, as an potential execution tech-ni-que, put him in a VW bug and launch him off the main catapult of an aircraft carrier.
Granted that we all have a pretty good idea of the aerodynamics of the average VDub, it would land out about 50 meters in FRONT of the carrier, which would then RUN the VDub over at about 25 plus knots.
