What the hell is going on here? You all ought to know the story by now: nooses appear in a tree, a black kid and a white kid get into a fight at a party--the party was predominantly white (sounds to me like our [black] hero was trying to start something. Part of the problem here is that people aren't looking at the beating case alone. There has been no serious effort to disprove that these 6 young African-Americans ar guilty of the beating or even that there was no murderous intent behind their action. Rather, the race-mongering reverends Sharpton and Jackson choose to justify their attempted murder and point out the "racist" acts of the judicial system which tried these boys as adults. They were tried as adults for the severity of the crime they committed, because we cannot as a society have people who when taunted will beat another to within an inch of their life, regardless of the nature of these taunts.
