Have been seriously thinking about moving overseas to settle down recently. Have been discussing with some of my regular clients who work or live overseas about the lifestyle and the job propects. Seems that it's not as hard as I thought to get a job after all.

Well.. just happened to see your journal...

Working overseas definitely broader your vision and understanding of this World... But there is opportunity cost to "pay"

Initially, when i reach US to work, i thought i can take care of myself, mentality and physically independent... but eventually all doesn't seem to be... Especially emotional wise, be it friendship,kinship or love relations... Is the vital criteria to decide before deciding to change a new environment...

Well.. At least now... I slowly to appeciate my homeland...

yeah that's true. there is an opportunity cost to "pay". But that is also an opportunity to be stronger too, to improve myself. And it's when people put themselves in the most difficult situations that they grow the fastest and the most. I'm sure you've learnt a lot from the time you spent over there.

Well, even if I don't make it. It's still an experience. It's still me. I've just learnt more, thats all.

Thanks for your advice. I'll try to mentally prepare myself if I do decide to go.
