hi. i am moving to la. and i clicked on random people who appeared to be living around the place in want to live.. you went to the grilled cheese event i wished i could go to. only i didn't, because i don't live there yet. anyway, i hope it's not too creepy that i added you. i haven't added someone in years. i guess i want to read what someone is writing who lives in la because i'm scared and excited at the same time.

Aw, thanks! LA can be a little overwhelming, and thus intimidating, but it's never out to get you. So you have that going for you. :)

There'll be another GCI next year. :)

yeah, it's not so much the city aspect.. i lived in nyc for 7 years. it's the driving in city aspect i think. and the disconnect that one might feel trying to meet new people after college is over. hopefully i will make friends at events such as grilled cheese celebrations because i think i'd get along well with people who enjoy that sandwich as much as i do.
