Get Well Sleepers Man
So if you haven't heard my cat man Sleepers (aka DJ Morrisville) is in the hospital due to vomiting, dehydration and lack of appetite. Right now there isn't a lot when it comes to details, but basically he's lost a pound (which before took him a whole year to loose) and is on IV fluids, which we will hope restimulate his appetite and get him eating again. You see we're talking about a kitty who never misses a meal so him losing a pound over the last couple of days is pretty major.
Other things we know. His guts look ok according to the x-rays, no obvious tumors or masses. The vet said he had some "odd shaped gas" in his colon, which could be his attempt to blow a square fart or something. Blood work came back negative for infection processes, liver and thyroid problems. Nevers and Figgy are doing good. Last night I saw them cuddled up in the same chair while sleepy was isolated in the little bedroom. When I saw them Nevers popped his head up and ran out of the chair in shame. Let's hope that dapper man hangs in there.
