Pao-Lin had already been at the training center for a couple hours already, evident by the sweat soaking through her shirt and the equally damp towel hung around her neck. She sat down at the table across from Ivan and opened a bottle of water.

"Morning!" Pao-Lin took a swig from the bottle. "Feel like sparring?"

"Eh?" Ivan paused in his folding of yet another shuriken. Dragon Kid-san was one of the Heroes Ivan had an easier time talking to. Sparring with her however...

"Are you sure? It looks like you've done a lot already."

[asterthoughts]

"I'm not even tired!" Dragon Kid punched the air a couple times to demonstrate the energy she still had to spare. Maybe she wouldn't have been asking Ivan in the first place if she hadn't destroyed the punching bag in a moment of getting carried away with her powers. Ah. It would get replaced later. But for now...

"C'mon, what do you say?"

"Ah, well..." Ivan tried to think of a response that didn't end with him doubting his ability to keep up, but nothing came to mind. And he hadn't done any training today. And he really should if he was going to continue to work on doing more than stay in the background and rescue people.

Finally, he gave a nod and got out of his chair leaving a half folded shuriken on the table.
