So since our lab is involved in genetic testing for mitochondrial diseases, our group spent a good 2+ hours on the new Nature article on transferred DNA rhesus monkeys (left early so not sure how long it actually lasted). I just can't get over how adorable these babies are.

apparently my wisdom teeth were bigger/stronger than anticipated. so the dentist battled for 2 hours with them and i'm now in stitches.

...and that's why my christmas >> your christmas because i got negative presents!! (-4 teeth!!) (ow)

OH! and i kept them too. come visit (when i'm feeling more alive) if you want to see the bloody specimen.
