While this was Mercedes chapter, and I really loved the scene at the end--more on that in a sec--I felt like I was being treated to bonus!friendship scenes throughout this. (And that is an awesome thing.)

It was interesting to see part of Puck's story without actually having READ his story. It was an inspired choice to show at least part of it through Mercedes' and the nurse's eyes. And can I get a hand for the nurse? Thanks for saying what we're thinking honey. Similarly, I loved seeing the Burt/Kurt interaction from the 'outsider' perspective.

Choosing to end it with the two of them sitting in comfortable silence, literally leaning on each other was both symbolic and lovely.

Another wondeful chapter!

Thanks so much! I really wanted Mercedes to have a kind of mother bear kind of moment, taking care of Kurt like he's the most important thing in the world. With that would come interaction with other characters, so I'm really glad it came across well. :)
