Oh, not at all! I did just wake up here today, so I'm new in town. I read the introductory pamphlet already, but someone who's not a drone would surely be able to tell me more. If you're not in a hurry, I would very much like some company. I'm sorry for startling you, too! Ah, if you'll give me a minute, I'll put the smoke out. I won't do it while we talk, promise!

Haha, it wasn't so hard, but I haven't tried being straightforward. Is the sexism that bad, though? I'm still too new to tell, I'm afraid. [She doesn't seem bothered, in any case.]

I should probably look into mine soon, but I'll take today off to learn more about what I've been dragged into. Ah, I see that there are firearms, but personally, I'm more interested in the tools. If I'm going to have as much free time as I think I will, I'll need something to do.

No no, I was just surprised. You must be from somewhere really different, if you don't know what those are. Coffee is a type of drink. It contains caffeine, which is a substance that... to put it simply, keeps you awake for longer. As for cigarette... Do you know what a smoking pipe is, miss?

[There's two good things to this. First, if someone else is smoking, this means she won't get told that it's bad for her, and second, even if the man seemed somewhat stoic in nature, his demeanor already showed that he broke the mold. For one who worked with human bodies for so many years, it was painfully easy to tell a real person apart from a drone even without any of her abilities as a magus.]

Mm, you don't have to do that, but thank you for the thoughtfulness. Are you on a break right now? [The energy may almost seem overwhelming, but she really does look like she's enjoying herself. ...Somehow...]

It's an assigned job, I would presume? Hhm, I do still need to find out about mine... but I just got here this morning, so skipping one day should be okay. [Seemingly satisfied at that conclusion, she gives a small nod.] Would you mind if I ask a few more questions about this town? I understand the basics from reading a public pamphlet, but it surely can't compare with learning from direct accounts.
