[Bazett notices the suitcase sitting out on the sidewalk. She wonder why it has been left there. She walks around it, trying to see if there is anything strange about it. After she decides that it seems to be a normal suitcase, she grabs the handle and lifts it up to see if there is anything inside. From the weight, it is obvious that the suitcase is not empty.]

[Out of sheer curiousity, she reaches for the hatch and tries to open it...]

I see...

[She pauses for a bit.]

You probably had more time to gain back your original abilities as well as make alliances. It would be unwise for me to attack you for any reason. Even if I were not to become your ally, my best choice would still be to pursue mutual non-agression.

Very good. [She hums in satisfaction.] You'll have to forgive me, but it would be a bit much, asking a wanted magus possessing a Sealing Designation to dismiss an Enforcer of the Association so easily. I'd rather continue my business as usual, but if you come looking for a fight, I won't just stand by.

I understand your concern.

[Just because there is no quarrel now does not mean there will not be one in the future.]

However, right now, I too would prefer to concentrate on my own business. I would only fight you if you gave me a reason to.

[Such as performing unethical experiments on innocent people.]

[She prefers working with dolls. If you looked more into the reason why she was Sealing Designated, you'd know she's no danger to people...

...Generally. Just... don't call her names.]

A non-aggression agreement would be favorable, although it's possible that the town will pit us against each other in the future against both our wills. Will you exclude that possibility as a clause?

...

[She has to think about it a little.]

Unless the well-being of one or more of my closest allies is threatened, or if I am being controlled by outside forces, I do not belive I will ever pre-emptively attack you even if it is part of one of the town's events.

Are you willing to promise the same?

Mm, yes. If things get out of hand because of the town, then it can't be helped since we'll just be playing out our parts. [Bazett doesn't know about the time Shiki almost killed Rin. While Touko just watched with mild interest. She probably won't find out either, but that's still part of history, so to speak.] Under normal circumstances however, this would be easily accomplishable. I have far better things to do than skulking around trying to harm innocents, this place does that on its own more than well enough. [It may not be an assuring claim, but a true one nevertheless.]

As long as you are willing to abide by that statement...

[It is times like these that she wishes she is better at catching lies.]

What about your allies?

[Just because this woman has better things to do than harm innocents does not mean her allies hold the same opinion.]

[Touko's not lying, per se. Back then was when she was testing and observing the "limits" of the town, so to speak. She's discovered that there is none, but with Kokutou here, Shiki ought to be easier to control now...]

I do know someone who's rather pugnacious despite her cold and nonchalant personality. She won't hurt people randomly, but she wouldn't turn down a spar either. [True on both cases; Shiki initially went after Rin and other innocents because those were the target the town assigned her during the Spring Cleaning event - hence the kills weren't random of her part. But still, the odds of this happening again are extremely low, as long as Kokutou stays.] If someone gets hurt then, that's different, wouldn't you say so too?

I too am allied with some pugnacious people...

[Tohsaka comes to mind, as does Lancer.]

I would not blame you or your allies`for sparring accidents, provided they are honest accidents.
