Yeah, I was gonna comment on how the last major paragraph is a humongous run-on sentence.
They are probably doing something fishy. Like, they might send you a counterfeit check for a couple thousand dollars (supposedly for the deposit and first few month's rent), then "decide" not to take the room, and then ask you to send back the money via bank wire transfer. Once they get the money, they close their accounts and disappear, and you are left with a bogus check and no way to get your money back. I say, contact the authorities if this is what they're doing. Which I am almost sure of, the wording and bad grammar are almost trademark Nigerian Scam material.

I think you're right, I have heard about those scams! Where they send you money and then they back out but it turns out to be bogus. Some of them are really elaborate, too. I'm pretty sure that it's a scam. It's so wordy and wierd. I guess I'll just report it to craigslist, they have a system for reporting scams. It was such a wierd letter, I guess they're doing english journalist impressions now.

Though I can't figure out what they're trying to scam me out of. But maybe that becomes clear after I respond.
Interestingly, the grammar and spelling doesn't seem very appropriate for a Journalist.
If they're really journalists, than his spelling and run-on sentences just ruined an opportunity.
