my coworker is cool she had a funeral for her cat and showed me pictures of all her other animals who were there, and the others who did not make it b/c they weren't of the right temperament. the rhode island red chicken did not make it. she also had a duck funeral a while back

I know what you mean. Pick something specific, something small that comes to you in the moment and do it. That's the only way to snap out of it. The world is too big to tackle at once and it's little things that make us feel accomplished. For example, I didn't post an LJ in forever because I was waiting for a huge revelation or something...which would never come, so I would never write! Which made me sad...Rather, I like the posts that focus on one seemingly small thing. I don't have to write my life story and I shouldn't feel guilty if I'm not. You know like those people whose lives sound so exciting on LJ because they recount every person they saw, every place they went, every booger in their nose...hahaha...
