Whilst in the middle of my nightly walk with Lady L today, we heard a huge explosion. I was so scared I urged Lady L to run back for the rest of our walk. She later explained to me it was someone setting off a firework in the neighborhood for 4th of July-ness. I was so pooped out from running back home, I just wanted to bathe in familiar, safe
