I have had a lovely day today. This morning I stayed at preschool for a couple of hours to help out (most mums do this once a term or so). We were in the blocks room, which is heaven for Ben, so he was happy to wander around while I helped various groups of kids with different activities. Oh, that's lovely, all of it. The image of Ben singing with tonsilitis is so funny and poignant.

Poor thing - when he sings like that it's almost heart-breaking. He's so cheerful, even when feeling terrible.

You should have seen him today dancing to "the dingle dangle scarecrow" at music with Kate! He knows all the actions and it's a delight to watch.
