Got a call on Friday from my DM.

As of March 2nd I am no longer employed.

They are exercising a "Reduction in Force"

In turn I get:

4 Months of Salary.
4 Months of 100% commissions.
4 Months of Medical Benefits.
$1000 Bonus.

Not bad.

It's been real, it's been fun. But it hasn't been real fun.

Free time coming up, anyone want to hang out?

I might be interested in hanging out, seeing as I've been sitting on a gift-wrapped bundle of chocolates and at least one Best-Buy credit card for you.

And just to be clear: Gift-wrapped chocolates is not a euphemism for anything. Although it probably should be, as in: "I just dug into that guy's gift-wrapped chocolates". Mm. Chocolates.

Wow, at least they gave you a decent severance package to hold you over. Enjoy a bit of down time before jumping back in! =)
