ironically, the one ingredient i suspect we're missing here is the ketchup :-)

That's the one we had to buy, too, but only because we didn't have enough. Oh, and the cider vinegar. We were out of that.

I take it you don't eat ketchup?

i have nothing against ketchup (and tend to put it on burgers and hot dogs) but don't eat things i tend to put it on on a regular basis. i'm pretty sure we have some salsa in the fridge (also fairly old, in all likelihood), which i'd substitute for ketchup on a dog or burger
