I love HP

Harry Potter will definitely be referenced in my everyday life now. I've spent most of the day pilfering through photobucket pics of the series and re-reading through my favorite parts.

So it took me nine days to finish the series. I cried on two occasions. One being when Dumbledore died and the other being Snape's memories. I mean jeeeez, poor guy. This also explains why my friends kept saying don't judge him til you've read book 7.

I loved it. I love this series. I wish I had read it when they were still coming out so I could have debated in those shipping wars. I am glad that I didn't have to wait though. I'm almost sure that would have killed me. Especially after book 6.

The only thing I didn't like were Dumbledore's reason's for not telling Harry everything. I thought it was too convenient. I mean obviously the entire thing would have been much easier to figure out therefore giving us less of a story if he did but still. I also didn't get why Harry couldn't tell anyone about Horcruxes.

I did love Neville completely owning Nagini though. That was a good redemption for him. The total bad A moment he needed. And it was awesome the way Mcgonagall was totally fighting in the it. That was great. I did not however like Remus and Tonks dying. That was random to me. Fred I could kind of get I mean one of the family had to die, but for them to die right after their baby was born? It's like Harry all over again.

Not a one person of the original marauders + Lily and Snape lived. Wait, Wormtail did die right? I assume he did, I don't remember that though... I think one of them should have stuck around. Harry lost pretty much everyone. Which is not cool.

The epilogue was interesting. Albus Severus. I like it in a way, Snape's redemption and all, but in other ways I'm just like... eh... I'd like to see what Snape's portrait says to him if they ever meet. I just can't help picturing Albus as a mini Dumbledore though. Lol. I thought that since Harry was Ted's godfather they would be raising him too, but the epilogue kind of allude's otherwise.

I'm also kind of glad that Draco is there and they're sort of coexisting. Makes me laugh, I'm sure they'd still trade remarks though, were they together too long.

Does anyone know what Rowling is writing now? I'm sure she's on a break from Harry Potter but I was curious too see if she's said anything, I don't know all the good spots to look for information since I'm new to the fandom and all...
