As many of you know, I live in Boston, land of Holy Shit Winter 2014.  I'm from Michigan, so it's not like I'm not used to winters, but wow, that was ridiculous.  The berms of snow were so high that you were walking in tiny tunnels on the sidewalk - if you were lucky and one was plowed.  Getting around was a nasty, barely-passable slog, and my ( Read more... )

No, no, not that - my conditioning routine is going great!  Zero missed days so far.  I did miss one day of meditation (hurting my score on the Do The Things spreadsheet), but overall, considering I added a much harder habit mid-month, I'm really pleased.  (And sore.  Sore is good!)

Oct ~ Meditate ~ Daily

Nov ~ Cleaning ~ 3x week (I was thinking an easy one goes second for maximal survival of the metahabit)

Dec ~ Conditioning ~ 6x week (daily exercise, perfect for the holidays and will tolerate travel)

No misses so far - and I would hope not - but hey, I’ll take it. What’s going to be interesting to me, I think, is what it feels like to near a month, get a bit comfy with this, and then add something else. But one thing at a time I guess!
