I'm at my desk listening to an old VT cd that I burned all those years ago and I stumbled across a few classical tracks that I had at the time.
Now, I'm wondering if anyone out there has any good classical recommendations as I think I'm going to purchase an album sometime within the next week. I miss good classical music.

So haven't you beaten the game yet? Cuz I thought you did? Where is the great crystal at? Is that farther than Ridorana or before it? Cuz I think I remember being in the great crystal at some point.

Hahaha, yeah, I want to finish XII so that I can play Revanant Wings which is still sitting on my coffee table still wrapped in plastic. Although I will be sad when its done because this game has completely rocked my socks off.
I've finished VIII and X but not IX. I didn't even like IX that much, I remember getting to the 4th disc, right near the end, then said fuck it cuz I got too obsessed with Ocarina of Time =P

Last night I attempted to get some better weapons but I'm at the point where all the really good ones are so frickin' rare, having to sell all that stuff to the shop then get it in the bazaar~ I tried getting a few items but of course when I steal its never the item I need. God I fricking hate this aspect of Final Fantasy.

As for single pieces: if ya want a track that's gut-wrenching emotional, try Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" (made popular by the movie Platoon)
Another favorite of mine is Antonin Dvorak's "Largo from New World Symphony". Try finding an arrangement that's heavy on the orchestral strings. Brass just sounds too cheesy for this piece.
Finally, Erik Satie writes a bunch of beautiful piano pieces. Check out the first piece from "Trois Gymnopedie". You'll probably recognize it from anime or video games hahaha. I hear this theme often nowadays.
Here's a link: "pianomidi.org/html/satie.shtml" and listen to "Gymnopedie 1ere (Trois Gymnopedies)"
