Holidays have been less than exciteing, but what else could I expect from another Christmas stuck here? Got mailed gifts from Iceland where my parents are ::shiver::.. never mind. Normally I would be mocking Parkinson for her great gift, except my mother pulled the same thing on me a few years back

You need reasons? I would think the memories alone would be enough for you to stay a minimum of 40 yards for the rest of your life. You honestly have plans with her New Years? That's so... sad.
