So lately Noah and I have been watching Sprout (a preschool TV station) quite a bit, and they show The Wiggles a lot in the morning and noontime. Originally I didn't like the kind of music they played, but after watching them a lot I've started to like it quite a bit ^^;;. I even have a favorite...the blue one, Anthony. Because he loves to eat, and ( Read more... )

We were actually just reading an article on Sprout in the NY Times.

I'm not so surprised about the programming being from outside the US. When Nick first came out, all of the programming seemed to be Canadian, with a small smattering of New Zealand and British shows.

What was the article about?

Yeah, I am also not surprised that America has very few educational shows really...the ones that are American that I can think of that they show are all really old (like from when my 15 year old brother was a baby).

yeah, i was going to mention that too. I mean, i watched Count Duckula and Danger Mouse all the time. There was a lot of japanese shows that were re-dubbed too. I seem to remember simba the white lion being on... as well as the fairy tales cartoon. Then there was sebastian the big white dog, daddy long legs, maya the bee, and noozles. i don't remember where they were from, i just remember them not being american.

As for the resin how many days are you letting the resin dry? It needs to dry about three days for the clear. If it's still not setting up in three days, it might have been not mixed properly- like there was a little too much A or B. i'm not sure. With the sealer, you probably need to do several coats on both sides and let the whole thing dry over night. What are you sealing it with? A brush on or a spray on?

Also, i think i have some extra resin colors if you want some to try doing a pigment. :3

I can tell if it's going to be sticky after about 12 hours. Even though it's not truly set it's not supposed to be sticky still, you are supposed to be able to work with it but you can't leave it in an airtight container since the chemicals are reacting (per their included instructions anyway). I did find that after a couple days the sticky stuff was a little better, but I still can't sell something like that to be worn as jewelry when you can make marks in it easily ( ... )
