I didn't make it to work today, which makes me angry. I left an hour early for my job- which is only like 12 minutes away. I was cut off several times, causing scary fishtailing moments and I almost ended up in a ditch along the side of the road. I got all the way to Randall and 72, where I encountered about ten cars sitting in random places around

Sorry for having to work tomorrow, but that does mean you're still alive, and alive is good. :)

And I must say, I HATE driving in the snow, particularly really bad snow! The first time I drove down here by myself to visit Pat his freshman year, there was a really bad snowstorm... and it wasn't so bad farther north, but by the time I got close to the 55/74 interchange it was just getting worse and worse...

Long story short, it took me just as long to get from Bloomington to Peoria as it had taken me to get from Lombard to Bloomington. So I can definitely relate to a 12-minute drive taking an hour.
