ugh.

burned my back AGAIN today...currently blistered and peeling. alternated standing on concrete blocks and picking veggies out in the hot sun for 11 hours. fed everyone at work wild caribbean chili and cardamom buttermilk cake....yuuuuummm..

honestly feeling like shit right now though. no apparent reason, just empty, bad feelings.

i just finished watching hotel rwanda. it's about the hutu and tutsi fighting in rwanda in 94...this hotel housed 1200+ tutsi refugees against the attack of the hutu militia. beautifully sad film, it hurts that some of the most compassionate acts of kindness are born of purely ugly, evil situations ( Read more... )
