Prom was pretty good. When we got there, the mosquitos were eating schmurglemuffin alive, so we went inside. All sorts of people wanted pictures of Matlock and me, because we sort of coordinated our outfits. He wore garb, and I wore a medieval-sort-of-style dress. This is my lucky day.

I went for the job interview today. I thought it went okay, it was my first ever interview, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. The people interviewing me said that they'd get back to me within a week. So I was expecting nothing.

I got a call at 4:30 this afternoon.

So I still have 20/20 vision...I was surprised at this. My eyes are definitely not what they used to be, but apparently whatever's going on doesn't require correctional lenses. Meh.

And I finally got my passport photo done. Now I just have to fill out the forms and I can leave the country if I want to. Third year abroad just became a great
