CR Chart
Harry Potter; The Parselmouth
Harry is a mystery to Tom - for very good reason. He seems to know about Tom's true identity as Lord Voldemort, but as to his connection to Tom, the Slytherin has no idea. More importantly, Harry is a Parselmouth, but has no connection to Salazar Slytherin - which makes him both a threat and a curiosity to Riddle. For now, Tom remains focused on discovering more about Harry Potter - why he is a Parselmouth, why he knows about his future, and who he is.
Draco Malfoy; The Willing Aide
Draco Malfoy is the type of individual that Tom loves to manipulate - the same type of person who, when Tom arrived at Hogwarts, treated him with disdain because he wasn't one of them. Now, Tom is one of Draco's friends, someone who understands him, someone who gets it - housemates to Salazar Slytherin and partners in crime against all who disobey him. For now, Tom is content with allowing Draco to believe they are friends and that Tom genuinely cares about him, but Tom sees him as nothing more than a tool to get ahead, a willing volunteer, a potential Death Eater against the masses once Tom sees fit to reveal himself for who he actually is. He is useful; Tom hopes he will continue to be.
Severus Snape; The Traitorous Professor
Severus Snape is a thorn in Tom's side, but not for the reason many people may think. The man is a disgrace to the House of Salazar Slytherin -- he was involved with a Mudblood while, at the same time, have the gall to tell Tom to not bring disgrace upon the House. Furthermore, Tom is almost certain Snape has been spreading the word around Adstringendum of his true identity as Lord Voldemort. He is a threat, a nuisance, and Tom loathes his existence. He is an embarrassment to Salazar Slytherin himself -- and is making Tom's life difficult, which makes him a target.
Sirius Black; The Blood Traitor
Sirius is one of the biggest idiots that Tom has ever met. He comes descended from an ancient wizarding family, something Tom is remarkably familiar with, being from the House of Slytherin... but he doesn't seem to care. He is flippant, aloof, and annoying -- and, most importantly, is perfectly okay hanging out with a werewolf and making an utter fool of himself. However annoying and idiotic he may be, he could potentially be useful... but not useful enough for Tom to keep him around past his use.
Lily Potter; The Idiotic Mudblood
Everything about this woman makes Tom grind his teeth. She is an idiot, aggravating, hopelessly naïve, and seems to think he is an idiot. There is nothing Tom loathes more than being underestimated and brushed off - but it is her loss, in the end. He cares nothing for her, other than the fact that she is Harry Potter's mother, and has written her off as nothing more than a nuisance, someone that has bewitched Severus Snape - a Slytherin - into dirtying his house with, during her previous time in Adstringendum. For now, Tom could care less about her presence. Time will tell whether or not that will change anytime soon.
Cameron Phillips; The Partner
Cameron is unlike anyone Tom has ever met before -- in that she isn't human and seems to possess a certain amorality that Tom himself has. She doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that Tom truly does not give a damn about anything or anyone in his life besides his own goals -- in fact, she even seems to be willing to help him with whatever he needs to get done... at the price of knowledge, of course. Tom respects her drive and perseverance and he finds her a useful tool in obtaining knowledge in Adstringendum. For now, Cameron is an ally -- but everything may change tomorrow.
Sherlock Holmes; The Adversary
Every British child raised in the Muggle world has read the stories of Sherlock Holmes. Tom Riddle is absolutely no different -- but meeting him in person has proved to be a unique experience in and of itself. Holmes is Tom's biggest threat, one of the few in Adstringendum who has seen Tom Riddle's true face, and one of the very few Tom is perfectly honest with. He is a threat, but most importantly, he is a challenge, something that Tom doesn't often have. Holmes has made it perfectly clear that he has no intention of stopping whatever Tom plans to do -- whether or not Tom believes him is another matter entirely, but he is eager to see what Holmes can do to stop him. He is probably the only person in Adstringendum Tom has a legitimate respect for -- though how far that respect goes is, again, another matter entirely.
Unohana Retsu; The Maternal Healer
Tom hates Unohana. She reminds him so fiercely of Albus Dumbledore that it almost unnerves him. She is always there, with a smile, a kind word, a bit of helpful advice -- Tom always feels as if the woman is watching him. She sets his nerves on edge; Tom wants absolutely nothing to do with her, but the damnable woman is always there. He has absolutely no intention of forming any relationship with her past the necessary smiling politeness, but time will tell on whether or not he chooses to act... if necessary, of course.
Kurotsuchi Mayuri; The Scientist
Tom isn't entirely sure what to make of Kurotsuchi quite yet. He appreciates his bluntless and his obvious disregard for morality -- something that always gets in the way of Tom's line of work -- and he is definitely a useful ally in Tom's quest to create as many Horcruxes as possible... but whether or not he can be trusted, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is another matter entirely. (Well, as much as Tom trusts anyone, anyway.) For now, Tom will use him as much as possible to get as much information as possible -- after all, anything concerning the removal of the soul from the body is of paramount interest to Voldemort.
Tsukino Usagi; The Bleeding Heart
Usagi is one of the most easy manipulated people Tom has ever met -- which suits his fancy just fine, as he requires more sheep to spread the word at how kind he is. He doesn't know how useful the girl will be for his future plans -- she has mentioned magic in passing and he has seen parts of what the girl is capable of over the network -- but so long as she's willing to continue to talk to him, Tom will continue putting forward his facade and winning the girl over. So far, so good -- Tom is a perfectly charming handsome young man and Usagi is all too willing to listen.
Merlin; The Legendary Wizard
It's Merlin. Tom cannot quite believe his luck at his housemate and "friend" choice. Of all else, Tom has a healthy respect for power and greatness, something that the Merlin in his world certainly achieved... even though this one has disappointed Tom once or twice with his general idiocy and need to trust most everything that he comes across. Merlin has even offered to teach Tom things, which Tom has eagerly accepted. He will continue to manipulate Merlin as long as he is able and should anyone interfere in his relationship with Merlin... well, Tom will have something very loud to say about that.
Allen Walker; The Mysterious Exorcist
Tom isn't entirely sure what to make of his housemate. Allen is nice, polite, respectable, British - Tom has no real problem with sharing living quarters with him... but something about the Exorcist makes Tom want to know more. His lifestyle, fighting those that have been brought back from the dead, against seemingly immortal enemies... Tom is curious, nothing more, nothing less. He has no idea what is lurking beneath the smiling exterior of Allen, but perhaps one day he will - for now, Tom tolerates Allen and is willing to continue playing pretend for however long Allen remains useful.
Raven; The Demonic Witch
Tom finds Raven to be obnoxiously condescending, which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem, if he weren't Lord Voldemort. She claims to be a witch and be interested in magic, but Tom only feels as if she's constantly poking her nose in where it does not belong. He does not trust her, he does not like her, and he does not want to get to know her. He will continue playing nice as long as he has to, but for the time being, she is nothing but a nuisance, a play-along witch who has no idea about the true power that Tom wields at his very fingertips.
Fox; The Sly Toy
Fox is entertaining to Tom -- she has connections to magic and is intent on learning more about the craft, but attempted to trick the wrong wizard into teaching her about it. Tom struck a nerve with her -- a broken family, perhaps, or almost certainly a lack of parental connections -- and is curious to learn more about the woman... more to prove to her that his own particular brand of clever wit is far better than hers. For now, she is not a threat, merely a nuisance, and Tom isn't all that concerned with her discovering anything that he is planning.
