Tom is Lord fucking Voldemort. He's not a very nice person. His talents range from torture to murder to fun times, including READING YOUR MIND.

So: this is a permissions post to alert everyone that Tom is an accomplished Legilimens. THIS MEANS

• He can delve into your mind and discover all of your nasty little secrets. He has also been shown to be able to plant memories and ideas inside your head, like a magical version of Inception! But he would only do this if absolutely necessary.
• He can almost always tell when someone is lying to him.
• He CAN and WILL pry into your mind if you give him good reason to.

SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fill out the following if you plan on 1) interacting with him often, 2) are a canon-mate of his, or 3) are Harry Potter.

• First of all, can Tom look into your mind?
• If Tom did look into your mind, what would he find? Anything he found he WILL use to manipulate you, everything from a childhood memory that you're thinking of to the idea that you find him dangerously attractive. HE WILL USE IT.

Keep in mind that all of this would mostly be IN PERSON. He cannot perform Legilimency over the network.
