Mr. Malfoy,

I, personally, wondered that myself as the attacks were occurring. As Head of House, I, of course, was there, protecting the students, but as for the other teachers, well. I will take it up with the Headmaster; he will, of course, be enraged I'm sure, and no doubt some disciplinary sort of action will take place.

As far as the younger students go, I am going to make a statement to the house as a whole, and I can only ask that you please reinstate it and reassure the younger years that nothing is going to happen to them; I will personally make sure of it.

As for Blaise, I am going to excuse him from any unwritten exams he has to take, to ensure a quick recovery.
