Last Night

Mark and I went to the Colorado Shakespeare Festival production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona last night. They did that show in 2001, the first year I worked there, and I have a soft spot for it, despite it not being one of his best plays.

Sometimes setting the objections aside like that is a very hard thing to do...."That's NOT the way it really happens!!!!!!" I'm impressed that you could do it.

I still spent about thirty minutes after the play telling Mark everything that was inaccurate :)

Yeah, I do that with movies and TV shows that take place in a theatre....I usually get a "it's just a movie" look from Austin.

Mark was very patient. He just mentioned that he didn't know enough about the theater or Shakespeare to really comment other than to say that he liked it. He did say he didn't mind listening to my comments, though.
