I got tattooed tonight: a pink lotus in the center of my chest, with kanji above it that reads, "Although inexpensive, this dish is tasty." A friend of mine at work is Japanese and translated the sentence for me.

The piece is based on this legend. I am going to have two additional sessions to add koi and cherry blossoms to either side.

Heh, that's how I felt about my lower back...so I'm especially nervous about eventually getting my chest and inner upper arms done. Also why I've not had my back touched up. :)

Since your photographer (me) is lame may I suggest checking with Katie to see if she has her camera. And if that doesn’t work Aaron might have his on hand and if you don’t want him actually taking the picture I’m sure he would be fine with letting Katie use it to take a picture for you.

If you did koi swimming in opposite directions on either side it could look kind of yin-yang-ish.
