Guh, once again you reduce me to incoherence with your writing. This was so sweet- I really love the way you write your England. So strong yet so vulnerable- and America <3 I love how he's a hero to England in the little ways, despite being neutral in the war. :) I am so saving this to read on my laptop when I feel like it and there's no internet. XD

I've always interpreted England's character to be very strong and independent, but under his great walls he's built up for himself is a very vulnerable boy. Not that he's overly needy; just starved for affection. He never seemed like he had a significant source of love or attention growing up, so I think that once you get through the bristly outer shell you'd see the side of England that wants the care and devotion he's never experienced.

But that's just me. >___>

I love how England's so brave despite all the suffering, and then finally...finally gets to break down when America's there to catch him.

I love your stile. Your characterisation of England is really good. That's how he is too. He has so many sides on him just like other nations too. But it is often forgotten.
