Oh, I ache. Poor America, to have the one thing you worked on scoffed at, and having people you want to appreciate it calling it fake is devastating.

What I really want him to see is the pairing listed. Somebody does care, America! It says so right there at the top!

I do have a quick question. You mentioned that the cuts close quickly, is that quick healing or just scabbing over? Because if they close that quickly, it would be that much harder for someone to notice. My headcannon says that nations heal incredibly fast, but I find myself hoping for the opposite here but delicious angst is delicious so maybe not.

This is a very cool beginning! I'm looking forward to the rest.

England will make his appearance in the next chapter, worry not! Though there's no telling what his presence will bring.

In answer to your question, I agree with your headcanon. It seems only logical for nations to heal quickly when it comes to outside forces that don't affect the nation directly (i.e. - earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados). And I have no idea if that makes sense. Hopefully it does.

The angst will continue on, I promise you that much.

Oh man, I'm totally sucked into this fic so far.

This kind of premise always squicks me something bad, cause cutting/self-mutilation has just always been a touchy subject for me, but something about this makes me really like it. Which is saying something. I really can't wait for more and am excited for an update. =) Good job, my dear.
