None of those are government funded. I didn't bother clicking either of your links because I've seen the videos before, but i imagine they are the ones where some structural enginerd guy went adn built his own. Also, those aren't exactly 40 feet tall. I agree they are a good start though, but I don't believe I could get paid a decent salary driving either of those. However if the government were to step up to the plate I assume that I could atleast get a fighter pilot's wages if not more for operating the machine. Either way, I like where this is going. Someone send an email of this to Bush yet? He'd probably be very interested in knowing that if he makes it i'll operate it, and who could be more trustworthy with a billion dollar piece of machinery?

The government doesn't WANT you to know they have them, because then every other country will be building them and there will be mass protest against the race for robot technology. We have enough anti-war whiners as it is. If they catch on to the robot program, it'll receive serious cuts.
