Ben only wanted to floo to Blodwyn's, but he wasn't irrational enough to do that. He was really worried about how she was taking the death of Crabbe. Actually, he really wanted to know whether she believed that accusations. So, instead of just appearing at her house, he owled her a request.

Sure, she hadn't ever even wanted to pretend that she'd been close to Crabbe, but his death was pretty shocking. If whoever was responsible was going to attack a member of a very long, pureblood line, she was rather unnerved.

Ben had always considered himself at least acquaintances with the boy. Maybe he was the one who needed the comfort. Needless to say, he got the floo location from Blodwyn, and went on over.

"Hello?" he asked, stepping into what he was told was Tracey's place.

Blodwyn heard his voice and hurried into one of the several sitting rooms, a bit of a smile already on her face. "Ben!" she said, stepping up to hug him tightly. She hadn't heard from him since the party, and was pretty relieved to see him.

The boy grinned widely. It was kind of odd to have this sort of emotional attachment to a girl... but it was also kind of nice.

As he hugged her back, he asked quietly, "How are you?"
