Parker paced back and forth in his room. A card was held lightly in his hand, and a small package sat alone on his bed. He had told himself when he purchased the item that he shouldn't have, but he couldn't resist.

It was too much of a bother to write back. A waste of parchment, he thought, even just to let Montague know it'd take a few minutes of convincing to ask Liz if he might leave the house. Just as he was about to turn down the hall to the kitchen, something dawned on him.

I'm Head fucking Boy... I get away with everything now!

Grinning wildly, Riley changed directions, heading straight into the fireplace after yelling "Going out! Be home soon!"

Within seconds, he was gone.

The room was a mess. Naturally she had chosen a day when he had invited a friend over to launch her assault at him. Now she was gone, and Parker was left standing in the remains of several shattered vases and a cracked mirror.

Parker gave Riley a quick look as he stepped out of the fireplace, speaking as casually as the situation would allow. "That was quick. Excited to see me?"

He turned back to one vase and cast a repairing charm on it to fit the pieces back together.
