Armadale Castle was not, strictly speaking, an actual castle, lacking as it did real fortifications. It did however have numerous rooms arranged in no particular order, a consequence of centuries of Macdonalds adding to the house in accordance with their needs at the time and rarely ever removing anything. Rapidly coming to the conclusion that ( Read more... )

Sylvie dressed up pretty nice for the party and even curled her hair. She'd had a pretty relaxing break so far despite the shenanigans at the wedding and was looking forward to having a good time. She'd come with Jax but he disappeared shortly after arriving. She was sort of looking for him, she was sort of looking for Cade, sort of looking for Alfie and realizing she probably just needed to stay here by herself and drink.

“Sylvie, come dance with me!” Aubrey is, admittedly, a little buzzed, but he’s still steady enough on his feet to get his dance on.

Sylvie grins. One of the few uncomplicated men in her life. Thank Merlin for Aubrey. She found a place to put her drink down. "I guess," she said.

“You look nice. I should have set a dress code,” Aubrey mused. “Or got you to organise the whole thing instead of doing it on a whim."

Lottie has arrived alone and remained that way for approximately just long enough to procure an artlessly mixed drink of mystery proportions. She'd made friends with the band (She'd brought her acoustic, it wasn't hard), and given terrible advice to someone playing poker, and snooped through the albums providing running commentary for the other people also snooping through the albums.
In the end she'd wandered back to the kitchen and somehow ended up sat on the counter mixing drinks herself, her guitar in a chair not far away. No prior experience necessary, apparently!

"Are you bartending?" Aiden asked. He'd been wandering around looking for Fox.

"Yep, what do you want?" she asks it like she's not already scooping ice into a glass, "Where's Fox?"

"Surprise me," he hoped you on the counter too. "I haven't seen him."

Although he'd been staying with Aubrey for a few days, Cade hadn't actually told anyone about that. He wasn't very worried about anyone finding out, he just...hadn't wanted to tell them, and so he didn't, and he doubted very much anyone who decided to spend much time in the guest rooms would notice anything amiss. With the party heating up and ramping up in volume, he's taken up residence in one of the terraces with a good view of the sound, cardigan discarded somewhere, leaning against the balustrade and smoking.

"Hey man," Jax came out on the terrace. He was just looking around the house and was trying to find a quiet place to smoke. He was also only a little bit avoiding Sylvie.

"Hey. Enjoying the party?" Cade holds his blunt our, signing want? with his off hand and a tilt of the head.

He takes it, "sure." He leans against the railing,"pretty good party. I was looking for Fox."

Fox is dancing. He's drink but not too drink yet. He can still dance fairly well and the rooms not spinning yet so he's good. "Dance with me?"

"Of course," Aiden isn't the best dancer but does alright. And he doesn't think Fox cares right now.

Fox doesn't. At some point he stops dancing and just kisses Aiden.

Aiden doesn't mind, he just kisses him back.

Drew is not the most social creature. She puts almost all of her energy into Quidditch. So she feels a little awkward. Which is why she found a comfortable chair and stole a bowl of crisps. She's on her second drink and hopes that if she can get ebough alcohol in her system she might activate some social side she's unaware of at the moment.

"You ok?" Blue asked her. She looked...sad? Or lonely. Or something.

"I'm fine," she snaps at him. She wrinkles her nose, "did you get dressed in the dark? Your buttons are fucked up."

Damn, he forgot to fix them. "Yeah, I know."
