So far I've found 532.

I suppose they arrived all tangled together. There wasn't much to do to prevent tangling.

There might have been no apparent reason, but there was a reason. I promised him I'd break his nose, and I was raised to keep my promises.

He never promised to give me a black eye or a fat lip, however, so I must only assume that this all goes on his tab.

Well, I would hope there was a reason!!!! Although, I must say I don't inherently begrudge an unprovoked attack. Sometimes they too are necessary.

It is difficult to keep such tabs balanced.

Why did you not hex him?

Oh yes, of course. Sometimes they are needed, or they are called for by the situation. This was called for by a previous promise, however.

Very difficult. Especially for something as long running as all of this.

And I didn't hex him because my promise only reached to his nose, and I felt that the hands-on approach was the best in this situation. Then afterwards, of course, things had moved too fast to retake actions.

Well, yes, it is always fitting to keep a promise. However odd it may be.

I am not unfamiliar with long-standing feuds.

I have never broken someone's nose. Not with my hand anyway. How was it? Was it interesting?

As I said, it was beneath me. And it was something of an instinctual reaction.

Mmhmm. What are you and Boot on about anyway?

So far Dawn of the Unicorn is palatable.

I disagree with recent choices he has made. He doesn't seem to like that very much.

I'm glad you think so.

I wish you would sometime tell me about the wards at your home. They just sounded so bold and clever that one time you spoke of them. I'm a dolt at wards.

I thought about using that word, yes.

wards are my best magic.
but i didn't make them
my mother did.
you should come see them.
permanent wards are the most difficult.
so far i have only managed a few of them
on small objects.

omissions scream like bruised children
