Father's offered to take me on another vacation this last week before school starts again. Any ideas on where we should go?

This summer I've been to America and to Spain, both fantastic. But I think my favorite trip ever was Italy--my mother and I toured the country for half the summer two years ago, and it was fantastically beautiful. I don't know if you could do it justice in just a week, though, so I'd stick to just one city--Rome, say. Or Madrid. Do you speak any languages?

Wouldn't be trying to tour, probably, and we've done Italy before. Could go back, though. Mummy's French, so I speak that, and some Italian.

Oh good! You're ahead of me, then--I speak a little bit of German and a little bit of French, and I know all the basic social formalities in Italian (hello, thank you, excuse me, etc), but I'm generally pretty hopeless with languages. My mother's Russian, and I've never been able to pick that up.

The Greek Isles! Just came back from there, myself. That is, if you like beaches and feta cheese.
