When: Right now
Where: Edge of the forest, near town
Rating: PG ish
Warnings: none
Summary: Duzell decided to take a walk with his new sword, in the icy snow.

The forest that usually stood green with its lush leaves, and chocolate coloured barks. It was usually a healthy looking and serene sight, but not at the the moment. The trees were bare and leaves that usually form great large umbrellas to shield the sun from coming in, had barely any leaves at all. In fact, the leaves were falling off one by one, to the last one, and if there were still any on the tree branch, it was covered in snow. The healthy bark did not look so healthy, its dark warm brown, turned dull and the ground covered in the white particles of the snow. There was a small almost unrecognizable path that lead towards the town that was not too far ahead.

The figure's feet touched the snow mounted ground. The soft substance of snow made holes and footprints in it as he walked past. He did not understand what this "snow" was, since the vampire himself had never seen such things in his life of ruling. Perhaps, it was because Pheliosta and his world, had nothing but rain to be the only source of water that fell from the sky. Not snow. He admired it a bit, and the cold hardly bothered him, since he could not feel hot or cold, in this somewhat dead body.

He felt slightly cold, due to the human form he too, and indeed that the cat body also gave him a sense of cold, seeing it was alive, and he wasn't. It was easy to walk in the early morning like this. The snow covered the sunlight, though hardly any got through anyay. It wasn't as if he was allergic to it. In fact, the bloodsucker could simply walk out in broad daylight without being burned, or for the matter have peeled skin. His sword was shifted in his hand, and he was glad that the young woman had helped him with this deed. She would probably been his first victim for his meal, if he did not encounter the human boy, beforehand, but now it didn't really matter.

The vampire himself was not much of a bloodsucking monster. He would be fine with small amounts of blood in his system. Though if he grew weak, Duzell knew well that he could change into his much smaller form in order to conserve energy for some time.
