Summary: Sephiroth has been wandering around for about a week, testing his newfound peace of mind. After enough contemplation, he finally decides to enter the city as he's been avoiding it for some time, especially after his spontaneous attack on the ShinRa building and killing Anita.

Nearly a week had passed since his last encounter with Schuldig; since then, he'd been surprised at how calm he could feel. Sephiroth hadn't run into any trouble -no other telepaths who undid his mental 'fix' or anything of the sort- and the voice that he'd normally hear hadn't returned. Unfortunately, he hadn't yet informed Zack or Angeal as it would have killed the suspense, and it would be more surprising if he actually went to meet them in person.
He'd decided that the chances of them being in the city was higher than not since they both still worked for ShinRa. Had Sephiroth paid any real attention to the networks, he probably would have learned that while he'd go and visit Euphemia for tea, Rufus ShinRa was kidnapped, and Zack was left in charge of the company for the time being.
But he was (blissfully?) unaware of the recent events and hardly ever looked at the journals to begin with, so the chances of his finding out were not particularly high.
He walked, passing the smaller and less organized collection of broken shacks and sheds as he made his way into the city. The icy, unplowed snow crunched under his boots while he moved on toward the city 'warmth'.
