The slight change in light that signaled morning had managed to wake Sakura up. She'd fought off the call to arise, knowing that even for her, it was too early. She'd gone to bed late last night, after kicking Naruto's pet rat Kiba out of her bedroom. Why she had let that stupid thing stay was beyond her, though that was a lie. It made Naruto happy, and deep down, Sakura had softened at that. She'd never tell anyone, and still call him Baka, because he was, but over the years, once Sakura had stopped judging people solely on their looks, Naruto had actually grown on her.
Cleaning herself as good as she could, which meant brushing her teeth with her fingers, since her toothbrush was not in the garbage, instead of the toilet bowl. She brushed her hair, put on her hitai-ate and left her room. She was still getting used to this strange world called Purgatorium, though once the initial shock had worn off, Sakura had found that it was like any other place. It had its ups, and it had its downs. A small snack was taken, for even though Kakashi had said he would be on time, Sakura doubted it. Munching on the food, she walked toward Naruto's door, pausing to see if she could hear anything from within. Drawing in a breath, she let it out, before her knuckle rapped upon Naruto's door.
"Naruto? Are you up yet? We've got to be going soon if we want to make it on time."
