Waiting just outside the door, Fay smiled at Tsukasa as he approached. Really, the boy was absolutely hopeless. A good worker and a nice kid but something about him reminded him of Syaoran. "Tsukasa-kun~!" He waved happily. The puppy, Ginryuu, he had adopted only a few hours earlier was resting safely inside the bad hanging off his shoulder. Such a cute little puppy. He looked back up again at Tsukasa after checking on the puppy and smiled again. "You ready?"

Tsukasa blinked at Fay and nodded. Fay's cheerfulness made him withdraw a bit, though less so than he used to. Living with Demyx had changed that. He drew his robe more closely around him, trying to almost disappear into it, though he knew that was silly.

"Yeah, I guess..."

Fay noticed how Tsukasa tended to withdraw himself but didn't let it worry him too much. The world needed more cheerful people so he saw no harm in pretending to be one himself. He held the door open for Tsukasa and motioned for him to go inside. "Well then, let's go. You need at least a few spare sets of clothes, even Kuro-sama has an extra shirt. And that thing you're wearing is filthy by now, I wondered where all your laundry was!"

Nattering on, paying nothing else any mind, Fay entered the store. He'd been here before. Everything on the Upper Level was expensive, but between the two of them they should have enough for a few bits and pieces. This store wasn't exactly widely stocked, probably why there always seemed to be people asking for tailors over the networks, but it had the basics. Fay had a feeling he would have difficult getting Tsukasa into anything else anyway.

Tsukasa shuffled forward, looking through the clothes with a visible amount of disinterest. He wasn't really impressed with most of the things. And then he had a thought that made him groan.

"None of these things have wave symbols on them. I don't know if I can add them myself, since we're outside the system's coding. And if they don't have the right symbols... I can't cast some of my spells. The same with the rest of my armor."

He didn't want to be defenseless again. He couldn't hold a sword - even without the system's coding forbidding him from doing so, this class was physically weak - not like he had probably ever been physically strong offline, anyway - and he doubted he could unsheathe it, much less fight with it. And he was not dragging a shield everywhere.
